PAINTING:

I apply many fine layer of paint to give the skintone depth and realism. I always work for the best and natural result in my african tribe babies. Zendaya has a delicately painted complexion with slight mottling, veins,  birth marks, cute moles, vitiligo contrasts, wet areas, shaded nostrils ... And every details has been shaded and bright places.  The final coat is a varnish protection and a texture medium to increase real skin appearance. A complex set of nuances that print realism on her skin.

Skin Disease: Vitiligo

Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks and destroys melanocytes, the cells responsible for skin and hair color. White or light areas called macules or patches appear on the skin and also can appear on the scalp.

TRIBAL BODYPAINTING: 

The body painting is inspired by the African tribes. I chose  very basic geometric figures of great beauty for their simplicity and their irregular and childish patterns. These details are sealed, resealed and more than sealed but I still recommend taking care of these areas because they are raised motifs.

MAGNETS:

Zendaya has 1  strong magnet in the mouth for magnetic pacifier so please keep away from heart pacemakers and electronic equipment.

John John is a very special baby painted with BC Genesis Heat Paints to created a milky skin effect. I always work for the best and natural result in my  babies. My Little Bee is a delicately painted complexion with slight mottling, capillaries, translucent veining, birthmarks, rash, capillaries, beauty moles, & congenital melanocytyc nevus skin effect, wet areas...  And every details has been shaded and bright places. The finish is varnish protection and a texture medium to increase real skin appearance.   A complex set of nuances that print realism to her skin. His nostrils have been shaded.

Painting Effects:

- Congenital Melanocytyc Nevus require a laborious work of glazes and contrasts to build the multiple layers of transition and contrast between the different skin tones.

John John has been weighted with high-quality and non-toxic materials:  glass beads, polly pellet and premium silicone fiberfill. I only use high-quality products to create my babies.

NOTE.- Male Gender Full Torso is not an original piece from the kit, so it is not included, but if you wish, I can send it as a Gift. The torso is a testing piece used to prove undertone & skin colors.

The torso will NOT be shipped assembledas it provides rigidity, detracting from the mobility and realistic docility of a newborn.

MAGNETS:

John John has one strong magnet in the mouth for magnetic pacifier so please keep away from heart pacemakers and electronic equipment. I can remove the magnet if needed.

Hand-Foot and Mouth Disease Effect: It is a viral infection that cause skin lesions, typical of childhood, which mainly affects children between 1 and 3 years of age. Although it is commonly referred to as a 'hand-foot-mouth' disease, symptoms do not have to occur in all three areas. It can appear only in two of it

Efecto Exantema vírico de boca-manos-pies: Esta infección viral , típicas de la infancia, provoca lesiones en la piel y afecta principalmente a niños entre 1 y 3 años de edad. Aunque comúnmente se la conoce como una enfermedad de 'mano-pie-boca', los síntomas no tienen que ocurrir en las tres áreas. Solo puede aparecer en dos de ellos.

MUSGO´S HEAD DECORATION

Musgo is an adorable fall forest fantasy. You can enjoy her,  hug her, dress her but I recommend handle with care all the 3D moss effect and specially her head. All the leaves have been collected and skeletonized by me. I like to be part of every details of my art dolls. I love to work with my hands and build every idea until it comes true.

All the leaves have been treated to make them flexible and avoid to break, but anyway you need handle with care. Do not force the direccion of the leaves or pull on them.

To crown the head , Musgo has a rooted area with natural afro hair that recreates  a little nest. I created and painted a magnetic hest decoration with 3 small quali eggs to fill up the nest. 

Faced with the global pandemic situation, the purity of this nest incubating life is the latent expectation that something new will born. 

MUSGO´s  torso: 

Collector can choose to receive Musgo art doll, with or without  assembled  torso. Although the torso creates a beautiful effect but it makes the baby keep stiff. If you choose yhe unassembled torso option, I will add torso  and 5 zip ties.If in the future,  you want to enjoy the torso, just meed cut the zip ties of the head and the limbs, remove the cloth body, refill it and placed it in the inner of the torso. After this,  reassemble the head and limbs to the fabric body with the new zip ties I added.

PINO is  painted with BC Heat Set Paints. I always work for the best and natural result in my A/A, ethnic, albino and fantasy babies. My little wooden boy is delicatly reborned using mix media techniques and every details has been gand painted. 

TEXTURE

The finish is a BC varnish protection. In the case of my Fantasy Baby Pine, I wanted a more powdered and marked look that would bring out the grainy look of the wood sections. I wasn't looking for realistic cleanliness but rather texture that would turn up the volume to the wood effects I had hand painted.

Mi nombre es Irene y desde que tengo uso de razón he sido una especie de sanadora de cuantas muñecas me han salido al paso. Desde la infancia, lo he hecho por instinto, como el que acoge a un perro abandonado porque nunca  hice distinción entre  muñecas feas o  bonitas  ya que todas me parecían preciosas y únicas y a todas fui haciendo hueco en mi pequeña habitación.

Creo que, de alguna manera, mi vida siempre ha estado llena de muñecas a las que, según las estaciones, iba mudando de ropa y modificando a mi antojo, hecho éste que, a menudo, conllevaba un  triste final para sus cabelleras.

Resumidamente, estas vendrían a ser mis raíces en el mundo reborn: una pasión que, con el paso de los años, ha ido creciendo  y he ido perfeccionando hasta convertir mi vida en un vivero de latidos.

EVERY BABY THAT REBORN IN MY NURSERY is unique and unrepeatable made from the best soft vinyl kits and supplies on the market. That's why you can never find two reborn babies exactly the same even if the same artist starts from the same kit.

When I face the rebirth of the different pieces I immerse myself in a long and laborious process in which I dedicate myself to print my style and personal technique in each stroke.

En otro orden de cosas, a menudo, me encuentro con que hay bastante desinformación sobre lo que es en esencia un bebé reborn y el trabajo que hay detrás de su renacimiento por eso, en lo que a mi trabajo respecta, voy a tratar de solventar en este apartado,  las principales dudas que me plantean  habitualmente:

1.-  REBORN BABY IS NOT A TOY AND, THEREFORE, IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. These precious babies are artistic works designed for adults and collectors. That is why if you decide to present a  reborn baby doll to a child, you have to assume that, however well you believe that the child  cares,  the use, the treatment and the wear will be different than the one recommended for this kind of dolls. So, if you finally decide to give away a  reborn baby to a child, must assume the expensen and let the child enjoy the reborn baby.

1.- BEBÉ REBORN NO ES UN JUGUETE Y, POR TANTO, NO ESTÁ INDICADO PARA NIÑOS.  Estos preciosos bebés son obras artísticas pensadas para adultos y coleccionistas y es por eso que si usted decide  regalar un bebé reborn a un niño/a tiene que asumir que, por muy bien que crea que lo cuida,  tanto el uso, como el trato y el desgaste va a ser  diferente al que se recomienda para estos bebés. Por tanto, si finalmente decide regalarle un bebé reborn a un menor asuma el gasto, el  desgaste y déjenlo disfrutar de su bebé.

2. QUALITY

- I only work with top quality kits that are expressive and inspiring. 95% of my babies are limited editions with certificates of authenticity and most of them are long sold out.

- In keeping with quality, it is important to clarify that, in order to reborn a realistic baby, all the raw materials used in the process must be first-class since these form the pillar on which every professional reborn artist is going to overturn her technique, her knowledge and, why not say it, her talent.

That's why for me, there are NOT what some erroneously give in promoting as reborn babies "cheap"

I sincerely affirm that a realistic work of this caliber has a fairly high starting costs to which we must add the value with  each reborn artist quantifies her work.

2. CALIDAD

-  Solamente trabajo con kits de primera calidad que sean expresivos y me inspiren. El 95 % de mis bebés reborn son ediciones limitadas y la mayoría de ellos están agotadas .

- En consonancia con la calidad, es importante aclarar que, para renacer un bebé realista, todas las  materias primas empleadas en el proceso deben ser de primera ya que éstas conforman el pilar  sobre el que cada artista reborn profesional  va a volcar su técnica, sus conocimientos y, por qué no decirlo, su  talento.

Es por eso que, para mí, NO existen lo que equivocadamente algun@s dan en promocionar como bebés reborn "económicos o baratos." Sinceramente, afirmo que una obra realista de este calibre  tiene unos costes de partida bastante elevados a los que hay que sumar el valor que cada artista reborn pone a su trabajo.

3.  FLANNEL DOE SUEDE BODY

My babies, always and all, have the flannel body. The weight of the body is one of the great charms of this art since it allows filling and proportionate and so that when you take it in your arms you can enjoy the tenderness and docility of a real baby. That's why I, usually dont reborn  babies with the full vinyl torso.

3.1 ARMS AND LEGS

Each kit has its peculiarities and one of them is the size of the members. The most common formats are:

3/4 Arms and legs .

3/4 arms and full legs

Full arms and legs.

Full arms and 3/4 legs.

3.CUERPO DE FRANELA

Mis bebés, siempre y todos, tienen el cuerpo de tela. La ponderación del cuerpo es uno de los grandes encantos de este arte ya que permite poderarlos y contrapesarlos de forma proporcionada y realista para que cuando cojasen brazos a tú bebé reborn puedas disfrutar de la ternura y docilidad de un bebé real.   Por eso yo, particularmente, NO renazco bebés con el cuerpo entero de vinilo.

3.1 BRAZOS Y PIERNAS

Cada kit tiene sus peculiaridades y una de ellas es el tamaño de los miembros. Los formatos más habituales en la actualidad son:

Brazos y piernas completas.

Brazos 3/4 y piernas completas.

Brazos y piernas 3/4.

Brazos completos y piernas 3/4.

4.FILLING AND WEIGHTING

All my reborn babies are weighted with ultra fine glass beads, polly pellet, and silicone fiber fill. I only use high quality products ,  NEVER use sand in my babies.

4. PONDERACIÓN

Todos mis bebés  están ponderados con productos de máxima calidad:  cuentas de vidrio ultra finas,  polly pellet y relleno de fibra de siliconada.  NUNCA utilizo arena, arroz, harina u otros productos perecederos para rellenar mis bebés.

5. TUMMY PLATE, BELLY & FULL TORSO

Many of my babies have a front plate that recreates the newborn's chest. These plates can be genderless or sexed with male or female sex. They are removable items that embellish the baby allowing you to show off their bust and belly button. You will also find kits that have a complete torso, usually gendered, which can be:

- An accessory torso if the kit can be assembled to a fabric body using flanges.

. A fixed complete torso that is assembled to the head and limbs by means of connectors.

This decorative plate have ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES that are important to know:

5.1. ADVANTAGES:

5.1.1.- Visually, the tummy plate looks very nice and bring a feeling of tender nudity that beautifies the baby's image.

5.1.2.- The tummy plate or the belly plate are  not fixed elements and, therefore, you can decide when to put it on or take it off.

5.1.3. The kits that include fabric body and complete torso allow you to remove and put on the torso whenever you want by cutting the zip ties and re-weighing the fabric body. With the fabric body you will enjoy the docility and with the torso it will be a show baby because it will be completely rigid, it will have no mobility.

5.1.4. Kits with complete torso that are assembled by connectors will always remain rigid and are therefore ideal for acquiring very special pieces that can be admired in a showcase or display.

5.2.DISADVANTAGES:

5.2.1.- The tummy plate provides rigidity to the flannel body  and therefore reduces the docility of the  reborn baby.

5.2.2.- Technically the tummy plate is a piece that the sculptors rarely sculpt for their kits, that is why we find limited models of plates that do not always fit perfectly to our kit.

On the other hand, there is also the disadvantage that the vinyl base color of the tummy plate  is light years from the base color of the vinyl of the kit. Due to this difference, before starting to reborn the work as a whole, the tummy plate requires a quite entertaining treatment to try to match as much as possible its base color with the base color of the kit .

5.2.3.- The final result of this extra work invested in the tummy plate or  full torso is quite pleasing but it increases the total value of the baby.

5.2.4.- The torsos are beautiful in photo but the result is rigid, it only allows very limited poses and you will not be able to enjoy the docility of the fabric body. I recommend this type of work mainly to collectors who wish to have some special pieces exhibited in a thematic decoration, in a display or in showcases.

5. PLACAS y TORSOS

Muchos de mis bebés tienen una placa delantera que recrea el pecho del recién nacido. Estas placas pueden ser sin género o estar sexadas con sexo femenino o  masculino. Son elementos de quita y pon  que embellecen al bebé permitiéndote  mostrar su busto y su  ombliguito. Igualmente encontrarás kits que tienen un torso completo, generalmente sexado, que puede ser:

- Un torso accesorio si el kit puede ensamblarse a un cuerpo de tela mediante bridas

. Un toso completo fijo que se ensambla a la cabeza y a los miembros mediante  conectores.

Estas placas y torsos tiene a su vez VENTAJAS e INCONVENIENTES que son importantes conocer:

5.1- VENTAJAS:

5.1.1.-  Visualmente, estas placas quedan muy bonitas y aportan una sensacion de tierna desnudez  que embellece la imagen del bebé.

5.1.2.- La placa no es un elemento fijo y, por tanto, puedes decidir cuando ponérsela o quitársela.

5.1.3. Los kits que incluyen cuerpo de tela y torso completo te permiten quitar y poner el torso cuando desees cortando las bridas y volviendo a contrapesar el cuepo de tela. Con el cuerpo de tela gozarás de la docilidad y con el torso será un bebé de exposición porque te quedará completamente rígido, no tendrá movilidad.

5.1.4. Los kits con torso completo que se emsamblan mediante conectores siempre permanecerán rígidos y , por tanto, son ideales para adquirir piezas muy especiales que se puedan admirar en vitrina o display.

5.2. DESVENTAJAS:

5.2.1.- La placa aporta rigidez al cuerpo de franela y, por tanto, resta docilidad al bebé reborn.

5.2.2.- Técnicamente, la placa delantera y los torsos son piezas que las escultoras  rara vez esculpen para sus kits por eso nos encontramos con modelos limitados de placas que no siempre ajustan a la perfección con  el  del kit. Por otro lado, existe también el inconveniente de que si la placa o el toroso no son del kit original, el color base que trae el vinilo de lestos elementos puede distar años luz del color base  del vinilo del kit. Esta diferencia, obliga a la artista a equilibrar los colores de estas piezas antes de empezar a renacer la obra en su conjunto. Este proceso  placa  requiere un tratamiento bastante entretenido para intentar igualar al máximo su color base, con el color base que trae el kit.

5.2.3.- Los kits con placa o con toroso encarecen el trabajo ya que es una pieza más  que hay que renacer.

5.2.4.- Los torsos son bellísimos en foto pero el resultado es rígido, solo permite posados muy limitados y no podrás gozar de la docilidad del cuerpo de tela. Este tipo de obras las recomiendo fundamentalmente a coleccionistas que deseen tener algunas piezas especiales expuestas en en un decorado temático, en un display o en vitrinas.

 

6. HAIR AND EYELASHES

The hair, often, is one of the most attractive elements of a reborn baby but is also the most delicate, so you have to be especially careful when combing. Is important not to abuse brushing, avoid tangles, hair-pulling and continued frictions. I recommended comb the hair only when it is really necesary.

The hair of my reborn babies is rooted with top quality silky mohair or 100% human hair. The hair is   doble sealed form inside with a specific waterproof glue that does not damage the vinyl but still must be combed carefully with a baby brush or a soft intensity toothbrush.

To stylish I use a sprayer that have previously filled with water and a little hair conditioner without alcohol. Shake the mixture and this cocktail will be perfect for the hair of your baby.

As for the hair ornaments need to know that when we put headbands, elastic headbands and caps should care that are not tight because they can damage the areas of friction and cut hair.

Another important elements are the eyelashes. Take and special care when you are dressing and undressing your reborn baby specially if the  reborn baby is awake.

6. PELO Y PESTAÑAS

El pelo es, a menudo, uno de los elementos más atractivos de un bebé reborn pero también es el más delicado por lo que hay que tener especial cuidado al peinarlo. Es importante no abusar del cepillado, evitar enredos, tirones del pelo y roces continuados en la cabecita. Recomiendo peinar al bebé sólo cuando sea realmente necesario.

El cabello de mis reborns está enraizado con mohair sedoso de alta calidad o con pelo 100% humano. El pelo esta doblemente e sellado en el interior con un pegamente especial que no daña el vinilo y que es resistente al agua pero aún así debe peinar al bebé cuidadosamente con un cepillo de bebé o con un cepillo de dientes de intensidad suave.

Para peinarlos yo utilizo un botecito pulverizador que previamente he llenado   con agua y un poquitín de  acondicionador de pelo  sin alcohol. Agito la mezcla y este cóctel es perfecto para el cabello de mis bebés.

En cuanto a los ornamentos del pelo es importante evitar diademas, gorritos que le queden apretados, así como gomillas elásticas y ornamentos como pasadores u horquillas que  pueden dañar las áreas de la fricción y cortar el pelo.

Otro elemento importante en un bebé reborn son las pestañas por lo que se requiere especial un cuidado al vestirlo y desvestirlo, máxime si el bebé está despierto.

7. MAGNETS

Usually, my reborn babies have incorporated magnets in the mouth so you must be careful with people with pacemakers and with electronic equipment because these magnets can affect its functioning.

On the other hand, it is important not to let the magnetic pacifier for a long time because the brightness of the lips and spit bubbles are very delicate and sensitive to the continued pressure of magnets.

7. IMANES

Normalmente, mis bebés llevan  incorporados imanes en la boca por lo que debe tener cuidado con las personas con marcapasos y con los equipos electrónicos ya que estos imanes pueden afectar su funcionamiento.

Por otra parte, es importante no dejarle puesto el chupete magnético durante mucho tiempo é porque el brillo de los labios y  las pompitas de saliva son delicadas y sensibles a la presión continuada de los imanes.

8.  CARE, MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

All my babies  have a flannel body so they NEVER CAN BE BATHED OR SUBMERGED. If over time you want to clean the vinyl areas you should use only a soft and white cloth moistened with water.  NEVER USE  ALCOHOL,  BABY WIPES  OR ABRASIVE PRODUCTS

If you want perfuming your baby with children's cologne is very important that you only  put the perfume on the clothes  and let it dry before putting it to the baby because the most of these colonies contain alcohol and  can damages the vinyl.

As for the vinyl, to keep your reborn baby as the first day you should not subject it to heat or cold, extreme.

Finally, when you go to dress your baby should be careful not to use fabrics and clothes that can dye and loose color becouse it could transfer that color to the vinyl and the damage would be irreparable.

If you are going to wear clothes with strong colors, I recommend that you first protect the baby with white, beige or light and soft tones   underwear,  to avoid the risk of color transfer.

8. CUIDADO, MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

Todos mis bebés reborn tienen un cuerpo de franela por lo que NO PUEDEN SER BAÑADOS NI SUMERGIDOS. Si con el tiempo desea limpiar las áreas de vinilo debe usar sólo un paño suave y blanco humedecido con agua. NUNCA USE ALCOHOL, TOALLITAS DE BEBES O PRODUCTOS ABRASIVOS

Si desea perfumar a su bebé con colonia infantil es muy importante que sólo el perfume de la ropa y dejar que se seque antes de ponerlo en el bebé porque la mayoría de estas colonias contienen alcohol y puede dañar el vinilo.

En cuanto al vinilo, para mantener a su bebé reborn como el primer día no debe someterlo a calor o frío, extremos.

Finalmente, cuando vayas a vestir  a tu bebé debes tener la precaución de no utilizar tejidos que puedan despintar  ya que podría transferirle ese color al vinilo y el daño sería irreparable.

Si va a usar ropa con colores fuertes, recomiendo expresamente que antes  proteja a su bebé  con ropa interior de color blanco, beige o tonos claros y suaves para evitar el riesgo de que haya transferencia de color.
